Membership

A network gains value through the quality of its members.

Professional and private members contribute different perspectives. What matters is genuine interest in exchange and a willingness to help develop the network.

Professional membership

For professional market participants.

For wineries, sommeliers, gastronomy, importers, trade, media, education, institutions and other professional participants. Professional members can use DJWI formats and access the professional members area.

After admission they maintain their own profile, interests and contact permissions. The first twelve months are contribution-free; thereafter the current contribution rules apply.

Private membership

For engaged wine enthusiasts.

Private members can attend public DJWI events and, where appropriate, register as Consumer Judges for DJWI Wine Panels. Their perspective adds the view of an actual wine-interested buyer.

Private membership remains free of charge. Direct professional-member contact data remain restricted to professional members. A voluntary Consumer Profile can be added after admission.

The application begins with the membership type and then shows only the relevant fields.

Association documents

Transparent and directly accessible.

Articles of Association, contribution rules and privacy information are provided as the governing documents. Fee tables are deliberately not duplicated on the website.

After admission

Your profile becomes part of the network.

Once membership is confirmed, members receive a personal login. They can then maintain their professional profile, interests and contact permissions themselves. This allows the member area to surface overlaps and suggest relevant contacts without DJWI actively brokering individual business relationships.
